• You can book Machupicchu + huaynapicchu (check availability) https://www.machupicchu.gob.pe
• You can book Machupicchu + mountain (check availability) https://www.machupicchu.gob.pe

If you booked Machu Picchu only is it possible to add huayna picchu or mountain. You have already ticket for Machu Picchu and you want to climb one of the mountains you have to buy another full ticket to Machu Picchu + Mountain that you would like to climb.
You can not buy the entrance to Machupicchu separately. You can buy only Machu Picchu or Machu Picchu + Huynapicchu or Machu Picchu + Mountain. This is because to climb the mountains you have to go through Machu Picchu.
You have to be sure of how you would like to book your ticket and for which date because after you buy the tickets is not allowed to do changings.
- You can not change the date of visit
- You can not transfer the ticket to another person
- You can not add or remove anything from the ticket
- The ticket is valid only for the date was purchased

HUAYNAPICCHU TICKETS

There are two turns to climb the mountain of huayna picchu, for each tour the peruvian goverment sell only 200 tickets this is because the mountains is very vertikal also the trail is narrow and the top is pointy.

• First turn from 7 to 8 in the morning 200 people
• Second turn from 10 to 11 in the morning 200 people

If you book your entrance to Huaynapicchu mountain for the first turn you have one hour to pass the control of Huynapicchu mountain. from 7 to 8 you can start climbing anytime But after 8:00 you will no longer be able to access even if you have the ticket. Access schedules are very strict once you can take your time.

Most of the people are looking to climb on the second group because they think that around that time is betterIf you book your entrance to Huaynapicchu mountain for the second turn you have one hour to pass the control of Huynapicchu mountain. from 10 to 11 you can start climbing anytime But after 11:00 you will no longer be able to access even if you have the ticket. Huaynapicchu is very popular you have to book it at least 3 months in advance depending on the season. this is because most of the people who visit Machu Picchu they go by train then by bus after the guided tour in Machu Picchu people want to go hiking and they choose Huaynapicchu Mountain and also it takes only 45 munutes to get the top and the way back takes 30 minutes. Huaynapicchu Mountain is 2740 mt. / 8989 ft. and Machu Picchu is 2430 mt. / 7979 ft.

You get to see the whole Inca site of Machu Picchu, the river that surrounds the base of the Huayna Picchu and also on top of this mountain there are enclosures, storehouses, terraces, tombs, tunels, and much more. The trail that takes you up to the top is all stair. is about 1300 steps. At the 10 to 15 minutes before to get the top you have to use also your hands to climb because it gets very steep. Once at the top you got apreciate the beauty of the lost city of the Incas. At the top you can stay whatever you want siting on the rocks, laying on the terraces with a 360 degree view.
For the way back you can choose two options. You can walk back by the same way that you went up or you can take the option by the moon temple. If you take the moon temple option you have to walk down by the back side of the mountain for 45 minutes to get the moon temple once there you see the beauty of the Inca architecture. after you visit the temple you hike to Machu Picchu for 45 more minutes.

MACHU PICCHU MOUNTAIN

Way above Machu Picchu Cathedral is the top of Machu Picchu Mountain. Such an amazing place to sit and take in the breathtaking scenery nevermind an incredible view of the Cathedral itself!

If you book for the second turn you must pass the MONTAÑA control anytime betwen 9 and 10 in the morning after you pass the control you can take your time to climb it. actually the second groups is the most popular because you can get better climate.
