DAY 1: ARRIVAL TO LIMA

Arrival in the city of Lima Capital of Peru, Reception by our representative at Jorge Chavez airport and private transfer to your selected hotel, Overnight in Lima

DAY 2: LIMA CITY TOUR

Exploring The City of the Kings & main attractions: Hotel pick up for a guided tour of the city of Lima includes the main tourist attractions such as: the historical center, the Republican square of San Martin, the historic and famous Plaza de Armas, the most precious jewel of the historic center of Lima, the Convent of San Francisco and its Catacombs The Tour continues to the modern district of Miraflores, the emblematic Park of Love with a spectacular view of the Pacific Ocean where you can enjoy an impressive panorama.The duration of the guided tour to the city of Lima is approximately 4 hours.

DAY 3: CUSCO CITY TOUR & 4 NEARBY RUINS

Flight to Cusco city Early hotel pick up, transfer to the airport for your domestic flight to Cusco city (1:15 hrs)

Exploring the Imperial City of Cusco and its main attractionss:In the city, the Plaza San Cristóbal is of particular interest, from where you can appreciate the entire city overview and from which you can reach the San Pedro Market, where you can savor the environment and local products. The Temple of Koricancha, to be admired in all its magnificence. The church of Santo Domingo, erected, like other colonial buildings, on the walls of the ancient Inca constructions. From San Blas, the artisan district, you can walk down to Hatun Rumiyoc Street, to admire the world's most famous stone, known as the twelve-stone angles, set in the palace walls of what was once Inca Roca, today Palazzo Arzobispal. The Plaza de Armas, which once was the most important square of the Inca, the nerve center of their great empire. Here is the Cathedral from the three ships, resting on fourteen columns, which houses inside the colonial era of incalculable value. Nearby, the impressive archaeological site of the fortress of Sacsayhuamán, surrounded by beautiful landscapes. The Inca worship center of Qenqo, another of the complexes surrounding the Imperial city of Cuzco. It is a sanctuary located on the hill of Socorro and, like the rest of the centers, its true purpose is still unknown: it could be a court, an amphitheater or the tomb of some high Inca personalities. Puca Pucará lookout tower, a military construction consisting of large walls, terraces and stairways, which forms part of the Cuzco defense complex. An excellent example of military architecture.Near Puca Pucará is Tambomachay, monument of remarkable architectural excellence, considered one of the pillars of the vision of the Andean cosmos. Totally built of carved stone, it is composed of four walls or terraces with stairways behind the slopes of the hill, with a construction of perfectly assembled blocks of stone, overnight in Cusco city.

DAY 4: TRAIN JOURNEY TO MACHU PICCHU

To The Lost City of The Incas Machu Picchu: The trip by train to the town of Aguas Calientes (Machu Picchu) is one of the most spectacular trips that exist in South America. Undoubtedly the geography is captivating its flora and fauna of the eyebrow of the jungle emerges between the mountains.
Machu Picchu lay hidden from the world for such a long time because its location is fairly remote and inaccessible. Machu Picchu is located high up on a mountainside. The nearest town is Aguas Calientes which is located down in the valley beside the Vilcanota River. Aguas Calientes is only a couple of kilometres away from Machu Picchu as the crow flies but it takes a bus about 20 minutes to climb the narrow, steep zigzagging dirt track that connects the two. DAY 5: MACHU PICCHU & WAYNA PICCHU

Guided Visit of Machu Picchu & Hike to WAYNA PICCHU: Rise to Bus Station for a 20’ journey to the famous Inca Citadel of Machu Picchu, bus drive, climbing 6 km. to the incredible site of WAYNA PICCHU also known as Wayna Picchu ( Quechua " Young Peak " ) The number of daily visitors allowed to enter WAYNA PICCHU is restricted to 200. The Incas built a trail up the side of the WAYNA PICCHU and built temples and terraces on its top. The peak of WAYNA PICCHU is about 2,720 meters (8,920 ft ) above sea level, or about 360 meters ( 1,180 ft ) higher than Machu Picchu. According to local guides, the top of the mountain was the residence for the high priest and thelocal virgins.
Machu Picchu Every morning before sunrise, the high priest with a small group would walk to Machu Picchu to signal the coming of the new day. The Temple of the Moon , one of the three major temples in the Machu Picchu area, is nestled on the side of the mountain and is situated at an elevation lower than Machu Picchu. Adjacent to the Temple of the Moon is the Great Cavern, another sacred temple with fine masonry. The other major local temples in Machu Picchu are the Temple of the Condor, Temple of Three Windows, Principal Temple,"Unfinished Temple", and the Temple of the Sun, also called the Torreon. Then we'll participate in a guided tour of the Citadel, visiting the Main Plaza, the Circular Tower, The Sacred Sun Dial the Royal Quarters, the Temple of the Three Windows and various burial grounds.
The Sun Gates of Machu Picchu boast a picture - perfect vantage point overlooking Peru'smost famous ruins. Tourists flock to this outcrop high in the Andes Mountains to enjoy the same view featured on virtually every postcard depicting the Machu Picchu citadel. Also known as Inti Punku, the Sun Gates consist of two stones perched at a narrow passage in the crevice of the mountain just above Machu Picchu. The sun shines brilliantly through this portal each day when it rises - hence the name.
Return to Cusco city in a train journey: at 14.30 p.m or 19.00 p.m train back to Cuzco, upon arrival transfer to your selected hotel for overnight in Cusco.

DAY 6: TAMBOPATA RAINFOREST - COCHA CAIMAN

To The Rainforest of Tambopata: Early pick up and transfer to the airport for your flight to Puerto Maldonado From Cusco city. Tambopata is your next destination "The Place Where Every Corner Is Alive"
In Puerto Maldonado Welcome / Reception, Upon arrival in Puerto Maldonado, the Capital of Biodiversity of Peru, pick up and transfer to the harbor captaincy to embark on a motorized boat. We will navigate by the Bajo Madre de Dios River, during the trip, we will dive into a fascinating natural environment, hopefully we will see Ronsocos, Caymans, Turtles, Herons, Cormorants and other animal species.
In your Bungalow, you will be greeted with a delicious nectar of tropical Amazonian fruits, and driven to your comfortable room (bungalow). A succulent lunch will await you in our cozy rustic design dining room.
To Cocha Caiman Satisfied your palate, you will be led by our specialized guide through an interpretive trail conveniently marked towards Cocha Cayman, a small lagoon with an abundant presence of specimens of black alligator (Melanosuchus niger) and white alligator (Caiman crocodilus).
At the end of the afternoon, you will witness the spectacular sunset in the Amazon, an experience full of color in amazing ranges and intensities.
Upon returning to the lodge, a delicious dinner will await you, and you will have free time to share unforgettable moments in our bar, equipped with an excellent board games room and provided with all the drinks you can imagine.

DAY 7: TAMBOPATA RAINFOREST - LAKE APU VICTOR - MONKEY ISLAND

Jungle Excursion & Activities: The magic begins with the songs of birds of the amazonian paradise, when waking up with the song of the howling monkey (Alouatta seniculus). A hearty breakfast will provide you with the energy needed for a morning full of new experiences. To the Beauty of Lake Apu Victor After breakfast, we will start a hike towards the depths of the forest, through specially prepared trails, with bridges to cross the streams and rivers. During the walk we will observe the flooded forest and a variety of Flora and Fauna and continuing, we will arrive at the majestic LAKE APU VICTOR, with crystalline waters, surrounded by immense marshes and gigantic trees.
After, we will climb the AMAZON POOL, from which we will enjoy a panoramic view over the lake, observing Parrots, Macaws, Toucans, Camungos, Shanshos (Hoatzin which is a type of prehistoric wild chicken), Herons and other animals, such as Caimans. , Turtles, etc., and if luck accompanies us, we can observe the Giant Otter; one of the most spectacular animals in the jungle.
Back to the lodge, a repairing lunch will await you..
To The Monkey Island In the afternoon, accompanied by our specialized guide, we will visit the Island of the Monkeys; a unique place in the heart of the Madre de Dios River, five minutes away from the lodge. During the trek, we will observe extraordinary landscapes, with an exuberant flora, sheltering a variety of species of monkeys in their natural habitat, such as Maquisapa, Capuchino, Leoncillo, Fraile and with luck other animal species, such as the Coati and Sloth Bears as well as a great variety of birds.
Finally, we will complete our visit to the island, enjoying the sunset, with the most impressive sunset in the jungle. Then, we will return to the lodge and conclude the day with a nice dinner.

DAY 8: TAMBOPATA RAINFOREST

Return to the Capital: After a restful night of rest, in our dining room our breakfast awaits you before returning to Puerto Maldonado, in time for you to take your flight back to Lima.
