Collecting you from your hotel at around 4:00am. We are heading south on a paved road, in the direction of Puno, towards a small community called Choquecahuana. This is located in a Cusco district called Acomayo, along the way, we will see the impressive Pomacanchis lake and several picturesque villages until we reach the huascar juntion where the paved road ends, then we will continue our drive on a dirt road until we reach Wayki where our adventure begins to the Waqrapukara (3,350m/10,990ft) Before we beging the hike we will have our breakfast. The first part of our trek is llamapinta, which will take about one hour and a half. From here we continue hiking for 2 hours aprox. along a winding trail sorrounded by mountains. The views here are stunning.
Finally, we will arrive at waqrapukara site (4,150m/13,615ft), we will have some rest and enjoy our boxed lunch, then we will start our guided tour of this inca fortress.
